How do I get JET J-4002 1-Inch by 42-Inch Bench Belt and Disc Sander Good sander but minor QA issues and incorrect/misleading specifications listed by AmazonBy L. StopsI bought this sander to assist me with final sanding for wooden gears I was making for a clock. I bought this model based on my good experiences with Jet tools in the past. The packaging for the sander is adequate and setup was well documented and straightforward. I was up and running with the sander in around 30 minutes and it performes just as well as I expected it would. The belt tracked fine without having to make any adjustments. I do have a couple of quality control issues though. Most importantly, the miter gauge is a loose fit in the table slots and there is no way to make an adjustment for a better fit. It was loose enough that I would never consider using it in a situation where I needed to have anthing perfectly square. But that said, I don't know any woodworkers that rely on factory provided miter gauges for precise work.
