Of course, many years back (60s to early 80s) I never needed metric tools but on rare occasions. Today, you'll find most things are metric instead of SAE. My new LA-400R Montezuma tool box had one rack that looked curiously empty until I purchased this set to fill its deep-well metric socket holders for 1/2" drive. Almost as quickly as I received these, I put them in the new box - and to use. First use? I had a 1986 Monte Carlo SS I wanted to remove the frame from. Using this set and my old 1/2" drive Ingersoll Rand "231" impact, I had the body completely off the frame and the gas tank removed in less than an hour - and I'm an old guy in his late 50's who hasn't done much mechanic work in many years.
